I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20 KJV
Because I am His and dwell in Him, in His Order, His exception, and His fulfilment, I am continually crucified as He was. In that which men call reproach yet it is a price unto salvation.
A declaration of my total submission. I die for Him as He died for me. Pledging my allegiance as a soldier, fighting the flight of Faith and winning by His Grace. Yet even as I die, I live.
I live because He now lives in me. He, who is within me, is greater than I – who is in the world. The Messiah dwells in me as I in Him. Therefore all I do, is done because He did and will do. I live by (the) Faith of the Son of God, in the Son of God and not by sight of my weary flesh. I make myself His home, broken like bread to be shared. Like a wall to be pulled down for His conquest because He loved and loves me enough to give Himself for me. This – our relationship – is a double exchange. All the pain and the gain, we share as partners towards the greatest price which is to see His face in all of the glory.
